When you use getEbids, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and details about the jobs you post or bid on (descriptions, photos, location, budget, and any messages you exchange through the platform). We also collect basic technical data like IP address, browser type, and device information to keep the site secure and functional.

We use your information to operate the marketplace — creating your account, matching jobs with bidders, processing payments through Stripe, sending transactional emails (confirmations, bid notifications, receipts, password resets), and providing customer support. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing without your explicit consent.

getEbids does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share your contact details with the other party in a transaction after a bid has been accepted and the bid fee paid, so you can coordinate the work directly.

All payment data — card numbers, CVCs, bank details — is collected and processed directly by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full payment information on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it — aggregated metrics like page views and referral sources, not individual tracking profiles. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to: (1) know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used, (2) request deletion of your personal information, and (3) opt out of the sale of your personal information — though as noted above, we do not sell personal information.
